'The Days After' was recorded Jan 7th, 2021.

The events of January 6th eviscerated me emotionally. The events of that day were from near or afar, the culmination of four years of hatred, unbridled for all to see. An act of civil war carried out by mock soldiers pledging alliegience to the command of an imaginary leader.

A failure of governance.
A failure of reason.
A failure of patriotism.

The samples used in 'The Days After' were culled from live news coverage, as well as speeches given by various politicians in response to the events. Pawns and businessmen, saying things they don't believe. Caught in their own lie; invoking Democracy's sacred name to be used as though it were a smoke bomb thrown on the ground by a fleeing Batman.

Watching the glacial and comedic progress of litigation against all parties involved in the January 6th riot has only added to the bitterness.
Clear and confident systemic racism has been given free reign and worse, a catchphrase. The worst has yet to come.
